National Assembly: Meeting with the Union of Chadian Journalists
On Monday, 6 October 2026, I took part in a meeting between the National Assembly’s Committee on Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Economy and the Executive Bureau of the Union of Chadian Journalists (UJT).
The discussions focused particularly on the protection and safety of journalists, access to public information, improving the working conditions of media professionals, as well as the challenges associated with digital transformation.
In my capacity as Vice-Chairman of the Committee, I reaffirmed the importance of maintaining permanent dialogue with media stakeholders in order to contribute to a more professional, free and responsible media environment.
