The National Movement for Change in Chad (MNCT) is a democratic opposition political party founded in 2011 by Mahamat Ahmat Lazina and several other actors committed to democracy. It obtained its official authorization on November 19, 2014.
From its inception, the MNCT set itself the mission of promoting national unity, multiparty democracy, respect for fundamental rights, and balanced economic development based on Chad resources. Its motto, "Solidarity - Peace - Justice," reflects its core values.
Today, the MNCT remains a major political actor committed to strengthening democracy, social justice, good governance, and sustainable development in Chad, while continuing its struggle for a genuine rule of law.
