I paid a visit to a mother and her 14-year-old daughter who were seriously injured following the collapse of a wall in Dourbali, a tragic accident that has unfortunately claimed two lives and left thirteen others injured to date.
On this occasion, I met with the attending physicians at the National Referral Hospital, as well as the staff of the Mother and Child Hospital, where the young girl is currently receiving treatment, to ensure that the victims are receiving appropriate care and close medical supervision.
I extend my heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured, particularly those currently being treated at the Dourbali Hospital, whom we also plan to visit, In Sha Allah, later this week.
My thoughts and deepest compassion go out to the bereaved families and to all those affected by this tragedy. I stand in solidarity with them during these particularly difficult times.
